We are pleased to announce we have upgraded our offering to exclusively provide Private & Semi-Private Beach Rides at all times of the day (and for the price of a group ride!) Enjoy the invigorating (and romantic) thrill of a glorious Santa Barbara Beach Horseback Ride in this acclaimed 75+ minute excursion. Outings offered five times daily by appointment.
The Best Beach Ride in Southern California
The Beach Ride is 75+ minutes and actually on the beach (no busy roads or freeway overpasses to cross). We are located in Goleta, just a few miles north of Santa Barbara near UCSB and the airport. We use a relatively unknown route through the Elwood Beach Preserve (accessed through a public easement near a world-famous Monarch Butterfly Sanctuary), so it's remote, quiet and tranquil. The beach is wide and expansive, with dunes, abundant wildlife and a good chance to see a pod of dolphins (or the occasional whale) meandering along the shore. Our rides are featured on CNN Travel as one of '3 Things You Must Do in SoCal.' and the profile plays at every major airport in the US. We've also been prominently featured in US NEWS & WORLD REPORT, Huffington Post and many others .

AUTUMN SPECIAL: Save $30 per Couple
Autumn is here and the perfect time for a Beach Horseback Ride. Enjoy the beautiful, cool, evenings and spectacular sunsets or start the day with an invigorating ride through morning mist.
With our Seasonal Special, the all-inclusive price for a Semi-Private Beach Ride is $180 per person on weekdays (except during Holiday weeks) and $195 per person on weekends. Private Rides are an additional $25. Inquire about special discounts for groups or families of four or more.
Also, our guests will enjoy two free Two-For-One Wine Tastings nearby at the wonderful Carr Winery. Your Autumn Special discount and free tasting coupon will be emailed to you upon booking.
Ask us about engagements, anniversaries, corporate events and our fantastic KID'S HORSE ENCOUNTER (see below) for ages 2-12.
BONUS: Kids Horse Encounter
Children age 2-12 are welcome to do our Kids Horse Encounter, which is a 60-minute lesson that involves our Horses and ponies. The kids learn to lead, tie, groom, tack and work with the horses. They are then provided a guided saddle-ride on the ponies. This option is the ideal introduction to horses as it helps the kids overcome the fear of being around horses.

Private rides up to five riders. No minimums required. All rides by reservation.

Call for availability for groups of 6 or more riders.

Children age 6 and up with some previous riding experience welcome.

Children age 2 to 12 are welcome to do the Kids Horse Encounter..

All riders must wear pants and closed-toed shoes.

Weight limit is 250 pounds, with flexibility depending on height and fitness.

All guests ride at their own risk. Liability waivers must be signed prior to riding.

Refund Policy: Guest Cancellations up to 48 hours prior to ride time or due to inclement weather will be fully refunded. Last-minute cancellations will be given a one-time rebooking certificate plus a $50 rebooking fee.
